Arkansas Motor Freight (AMF) was formed in the 1920s as OK Transfer and has since been transferred to ArcBest (AMF). Before then, there was no company called Arkansas Best Corporation. As the company grew, Arkansas Best Corporation was able to set up new networks in additional states, including the US, and on the global scale. Until today, the ArcBest Corporation has had the name Arkansas Best. They are distinguished from the rest because of their ability as well as their willingness to go above and beyond for their customers.
