The first governmental postal service was formed in 1921, just after the creation of the Emirate of Transjordan. It was called the postal service and began with the mail service operated by the Ottoman Empire. It was founded in 1921 with eight post offices. The company offers different services. They include financial services, including Post Saving Bank, money transfers and billing services for business. Also postal services ranging  from normal to expedited as well as postal boxes, confirmation of arrival and delivery via SMS. There are other services, including collecting court-ordered payments from party to party.
