Malawi Posts Corporation was introduced in June 2000 as a Statutory Corporation underneath the Communications Act Number 41 of 1998. The Act requires MPC to provide postal and financial services, as well as any other services related to the delivery of postal products. Malawi Regulatory Authority regulates the Corporation via a license that was issued in 2003. Malawi Posts Corporation operates a nationwide network comprising 180 Offices. The postal network is supplemented by 154 postal offices located around the nation that are overseen by District Assemblies.
