Currently, the Myanmar Postal Service runs 1,294 post offices around the nation. Myanmar's regional Express Parcel System was started on April 1, 1992, in Yangon and Mandalay, and it now serves 129 places. MPT was also Myanmar's sole transmission substation until 2013.
