Track Oman Post shipments
The old Oman Post has been a part of the country's history from the day the first post office opened in Muscat in 1856. While a department under the government of Oman wasn't established until over a century later, it wasn't until after the turn of the 20th century that the department was brought completely into the Omani government. Post offices with a complete range of services were set up in Oman beginning in the early 1970s as a consequence of the country's rebirth. The significance of the postal system to the growth of Oman was realized by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said in 2005, and he issued a Royal Decree to create Oman Post. To meet the postal requirements of the Universal Postal Union, Oman Post is completely able to provide international services. It has been in operation for about 162 years. More than 550 people work here. It has 86 branches. To satisfy its clients, it provides 20 various services. It is able to connect to over 100 countries.
