Spee-Dee started out as a small business, alike a lot of other businesses that grew to success over time. The company founder, Don Weeres, 37-year-old farm worker, established the business in 1978. Don used his pickup truck to deliver goods to local companies as part of a service. He had a vision to start an alternative overnight delivery business that provided better services and prices than the competitors.
