Estes Express is one of the industry's Top 25 operators. W.W. Estes was founded in Virginia in 1931 during the Great Depression and helped his family with his old Chevrolet Truck, taking cattle from the market for his neighbours. They now employ 18,000 people and have over 7,000 tractors and around 29,000 trailers throughout a network that encompasses 50 countries, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Estes is recognized as the largest private freight carrier in the nation.
